DESCRIPTION:This is not a VINE Event\, but is relevant to VINE members.\nA full agenda and registration details can be download from here. \n2019 ICT Management and Leadership Conference: Is comfort the enemy of progress? \nWe often feel comfortable – it’s good when everything is going well\, and it’s natural to stop and enjoy it for a while. But technology doesn’t stop. \nDevelopment is constant and the longer you wait the further things move ahead of you until you’re in a frantic race to catch up. Stepping out of our comfort zone requires extra effort\, energy and determination. And with it comes the risk of failure… what if we get it wrong? What if we look silly? Will it be worth it in the end? Will I stand alone? What if I fail? \nBut what if it succeeds and helps ICT delivery? If we are going to strive for progress\, whether professionally or personally\, we have to get comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable.
