SUMMARY:Cisco Security Assessment Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Atturra and Cisco invite you to a Security Resilience Assessment Workshop from 10am to 2pm on Thursday 20th March. Lunch will also be provided at the Cisco office in Melbourne\, level 11\, 101 Collins Street Melbourne. \nDuring the workshop\, attendees will engage in a guided self-assessment of their security capabilities\, providing a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth view of your current security posture. Each attendee will be given a comprehensive capability heatmap and details\, providing valuable insights into your strengths and areas for improvement across crucial security pillars. \nYou’ll leave with a clear\, actionable understanding of how your organisation measures up\, with tailored insights shared confidentially with each attendee. \nSecurity assessments are essential for measuring cybersecurity maturity. They help prioritise projects and set milestones by evaluating capabilities\, technology\, and risk management. Typically\, they focus on specific programs or projects rather than covering the full threat landscape. \nThis workshop will evaluate your security posture across four critical pillars: \n\nZero Trust\nSecurity Infrastructure\neXtended Detection and Response (XDR)\, and\nSecurity Operations to leverage an updated CISA Zero Trust Model.\n\nDuring the assessment workshop\, we will use tools to learn security resilience with zero-trust capabilities\, help assess your environment and analyse your roadmap for capabilities.

SUMMARY:Fortinet Threat Hunting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Threat Hunting using MITRE ATT&CK™ TTPs to Identify Adversarial Behaviors \nIn today’s cybersecurity landscape\, many breaches go undetected by traditional security measures that purely hunt for threats based on IOCs such as hashes\, IPs and domains. To effectively address this challenge\, organisations need to adopt a proactive approach that involves hunting for threats based on the Tactics\, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) that threat actors use. \nThe Threat hunting challenge is set up with several exercises set around the technical goals the adversary is trying to achieve (ATT&CK™ Tactics)\, for example\, Initial Access\, Persistence\, Privilege Escalation\, Command and Control. Participants will be asked to detect any techniques being used by an adversary to achieve these goals. \nAttendees will learn:\n•    What is the MITRE ATT&CK framework and how it can be used\n•    What are the TTPs that the threat Actor uses to carry out a breach\n•    How to use FortiEDR Threat Hunting capabilities to uncover threats on the network\n•    How to use FortiSIEM analytics to discover attacker behaviour based on attack techniques\n•    How to use FortiDecepter to find attacker activity and shorten attacker dwell time
