*POSTPONED* Technical Deep Dive

After deliberation and discussion we have decided to postpone the VINE Technical Deep Dive Day planned for March 30 at Mazenod College. COVID-19 strikes again! 

We would particularly like to acknowledge those who have contributed to getting this day together and hope they can share their wisdom later in the year at a rescheduled event:

11.45am Discussion on SCCM migrations, how are people tackling this, who has done it, successes and lessons learnt. Managing WaaS? – Special guest success story from the NSW Department of education
12.15pm Tech Tips – What’s your hot tech tip of 2019 or start of 2020, share with the group a piece of software, solution, lifehack, script, website, process or tech tip which you love

1.30pm Discussion on Wireless technologies, what vendors are people using, successes and lessons learnt, what MSP’s people are using?
2.00pm Micro-presentations on Nutanix, Simplivity & VXRail –  Server Room technology open forum discussion – Who’s using traditional, who’s using HCI, who’s gone Hybrid cloud, who’s gone full cloud?  How is it going, and what would you do next time?  What are people using for backups, and what air gaps do you have in place?

2.45pm Veeam backup architecture at MLC presented by Ian Burrows
3.00pm Certificates – Wildcards vs individual certificates .  What are we doing with this moving forward?
3.15pm Classroom Management software – is this a Catholic schools thing? Web Filtering on student laptops / Sophos Web Gateway end of life?
